WHITE BEANS WITH HAKO LLUKANIK AND PISTACHIO-LEMON CRUMBLE

Ingredients:

1 pack Hako Llukanik

1 small onion, chopped

1 tablespoon of olive oil or butter

1 cup canned tomatoes

2 cups cooked multicolored beans (red, black, white)

¼ cup pistachios

1 teaspoon chopped lemon zest

2 tablespoons breadcrumbs

Total Time: 30 minutes

LET'S COOK!

Step 1

Slice Hako llukanik sausage and sauté with chopped onion in olive oil/ butter until lightly browned.

Step 2

Stir in multicolored cooked beans and simmer everything together until slightly thickened.

Step 3

Add canned tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.

Step 4

Toast pistachios, lemon zest, and breadcrumbs in a dry pan.

Step 5

Serve sausage and beans hot, topped with the crumble.

Step 6

Optional: for an extra crispy top, sprinkle topping over the sausage and beans, and bake for about 10 minutes.
